Woodworks is now making exact reproductions of original K-Ration
Crates. Copied directly from an original 43' dated Patton Food
crate, the crate is dimensionally built to spec out of pine.
Additionally, all markings have been replicated by a professional
Typographer to reflect the exact 1940's typefaces used to produce
the original crate. Crates come with removable (non-nailed) tops
and will fit the appropriate amount of boxes. There is also about
1/16th wiggle room around where ration boxes would fit to
compensate for the inner corrugated cardboard liner box...and yes,
we ARE working on replicating these too!
