   We in Able Company, 5th Ranger Battalion are very serious about authenticity and uniformity. We are a historical organization, and are in constant contact with the 5th Ranger veterans as well as their families. As such, we have acquired many original photographs documenting each and every article listed throughout these pages (please see the Research Compendium for an ultimate check of our sources...and some pretty darn interesting reading!). If an article is not listed below, chances are the 5th Ranger Infantry did not have it during World War II. Only appropriate, approved items should be worn by our unit to best portray and honor the men of the 5th Ranger Battalion. Additionally, our interpretations are to represent the riflemen of Able Company specifically.
